Measure & Recycle

"Creating content is, most times, saying the same thing over and over again but in 100 different ways.”

Now that you have tweeted a lot, you should have enough data to measure what works and what didn’t.

A good metrics for that are:

  1. Engagement - how many likes/RT by impressions
  2. Profile clicks - how many people visited your profile after reading a tweet.

Collect the best tweets, and try to rephrase them or change the format. You can transform a single tweet into a thread (or the other way around), change a thread into a list etc…

Just find a way to say the same thing 100 different ways!

Use Twitter topics as “SEO”

Virality is super hard to predict on Twitter, but there is a trick that will make it easier: Trends!

Open the Topics (in the more menu of your Twitter client on desktop) and go through the list of topics. As you can see you can subscribe to these topics, and, when you do, Twitter will show you some tweets related to it even if you’re not following the person that tweeted it!

That’s the trick to gain more exposure!
